Jack Wade brings years of experience in the broadcasting industry to the table. Jack started out in radio, working as an on air personality. One day, during his on air career, his employer, the owner of a small radio station tapped Jack on the shoulder and asked him to become the Chief Engineer. He told Jack to go to the FCC, take the test and get his license, which engineers needed at the time. Jack knew that people took months to prepare for the test and mentioned that. The station owner told Jack that he has confidence in him, because Jack's hobby was Ham Radio. He also told Jack that the station was desperate for a chief and if he didn't pass the test, he was fired. Jack passed the test with a 100% score.
Jack has worked as a broadcast engineer for the NBC television network. During his many years as an NBC broadcast engineer, he also sat on the executive board of a local of NABET, the union that represents NBC's technical employees. Jack comes from a solidly union family and knows how much unions have done for America's middle class families. His dad was a member of the United Auto Workers union.
Jack is currently on The Jack Wade Show, a progressive radio talk show. He is trying to bring some balance back to talk radio, which he feels “has two points of view conservative and ultra conservative”.
