Los Angeles (September 24, 2010) – In a joint statement issued today, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) announced they will commence negotiations on successor agreements to the AFTRA Exhibit A (Primetime TV) and SAG TV/Theatrical contracts on Monday, September 27, 2010. The talks will take place at AMPTP headquarters in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Harrisburg, Pa. (September 24, 2010) – Screen Actors Guild provided expert testimony Thursday in regard to “Gosselin Law” child labor legislation being reviewed by the Pennsylvania House Labor Relations Committee.

H.B. 2515, sponsored by Rep. Thomas Murt, originated as a way to protect children working on set and is a reference to Kate Gosselin’s Kate Plus 8, which is shot in Pennsylvania.
